DIVISION Two champions Team Northumbria FC tonight lifted the League Cup following a 4-1 victory over West Auckland.
The tie at Coach Lane saw West Auckland take the lead through Elliot Gardner, but Team Northumbria pulled a goal back through Robert Cavener, before Peter Watling gave them the lead.
Before half time West were reduced to ten men when Stuart Banks was given a straight red card.
After the interval Gavin Donoghue increased the lead for Team North before Mark Fenwick added a fourth in the dying minutes.
